COMPLACENCY = FAILURE

“I will not allow yesterday’s success to lull me into today’s complacency, for this is the great foundation of failure.” – Og Mandino

“The way to enjoy life best is to wrap up one goal and start right on the next one. Don’t linger too long at the table of success, the only way to enjoy another meal is to get hungry.” -Jim Rohn

“Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go.” -William Feather

I love rope climbs because they teach you to keep working even after you reach your goal.  If you linger, you get tired.  If you stop working, you break your legs.  If you try and take the “easy way”, you get some gnarly rope burn.

We all have had some successes, I believe the really successful ones just have kept moving forward and never quit.  The common denominator with successful people seems to be hard work and persistence.

What can you do today (can be something as simple as doing some stretching) that will bring you one step further?
